Meet the Cast of My fair lady

Olivia Herold –

Eliza Doolittle

Olivia is excited to sing her heart out as leading lady Eliza Doolittle in this production. She first graced the Dulcie stage in Oliver! where she played the Rose Seller. Outside of the world of theatre, Olivia works as the Billing and Office Manager at Peak Performance Chiropractic. She would like to thank her family for encouraging her to believe in herself.

Clayton Oberquell – Freddy Eynsford Hill

A familiar face, Clayton grew up in Clyde Park and was first introduced to the Shane Center  in 2008 where he appeared as Lamar in Godspell. When not on stage, Clayton works as a vocal coach and plays piano for the PHS and SGMS choirs. Clayton is excited to get to be a young, romantic character in My Fair Lady and is forever thankful for his family’s support.

Dewey Kemp –

Colonel Pickering

Dewey needs little introductions around these parts. He is the Box Office and Production Manager at the Shane Center, and enjoys collecting records in his free time. Dewey has been involved in every show in the Dulcie Theater in one way or another. Out of the many of productions he’s been a part of, Dewey’s favorite role was portraying Sir Robin in Spamalot.

Scott Denniston –

Henry Higgins

It was a no brainer for Scott to audition for My Fair Lady with most of his family. He’s been appearing in shows for the past 10 years at the Shane Center with highlights including Mamma Mia and Big River. Recently, he starred as Jacob Marley in Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol at the Blue Slipper. His favorite role however, was playing Edward Bloom in Big Fish.

Michael Breis –

Alfred P. Doolittle

Michael works as an Education Ranger at Yellowstone National Park, but you may recognize him from The Addams Family where he played Gomez Adams. His favorite role, however, was Igor in the Shane Center’s production of Young Frankenstein. This is the first time in five years that Micheal’s been able to fit a show into his work schedule, and he is so excited! 

Rebecca Thomas –

Mrs. Pearce

By day Rebecca works with patients at Wheatland Memorial Healthcare. However, she couldn’t resist making the drive to audition for this great classic and childhood favorite. Rebecca’s all time favorite role was playing Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Rebecca would like to dedicate this performance to her mom who also loved My Fair Lady.

Relly Friedman –

Mrs. Higgins

Relly grew up in Rochester, New York and has lived in Montana for 26 years. At the wonderful age of 85, Relly found herself missing the stage and decided to audition for My Fair Lady. Her Livingston theatre debut was in 1998 where she played the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella. Other favorite roles include Yenta in Fiddler on the Roof and Berta in Sound of Music.

Katie Mangett–

Mrs. Eynsford Hill

The stage was love at first sight for Katie, and it has remained a lifetime love. Her first ever show where that love began was her first grade show. Besides acting, she also enjoys directing, most recently, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol and Tiny Beautiful Things at the Blue Slipper. She would like to thank you, the audience, for your support of live theatre in our community!

Katia Logan–

Busker, Bystander

Katia’s first show was the teen theatre production of Band Geeks in 2003. However, her favorite role was getting to play a Bard Boy in Something Rotten because of all the dancing. When she’s not leaping across a stage, you can find her teaching dance at the Yellowstone Ballet Company or working as a waitress at the Rib and Chop House.

Zakira Blair –

Bystander

After taking a hiatus from theatre, Zakira wanted to get back onto the stage with My Fair Lady. Zakira’s first show at the Shane Center was when she was 7 years old. Since then, she has participated in many productions, from The Wildest West Show Ever to Big River. When not participating in a show Zakira lovse drawing and getting to be creative.

Keirria Herold –

Milicent Bystander

Since first appearing on stage in Something Rotten at 16 years old, Keirria knew the Shane Center was a newfound home. Now, she can’t miss an opportunity to audition. Kierria is proud that her mom is playing Eliza and is excited to share the stage with her family. Some passions of Keirria’s include writing, tap dancing, watching true crime, and dressing outlandishly.

Giselle Herold –

Hoxton Woman

Originally from Louisiana, Giselle’s very first show at the Shane Center was Oliver! last fall. Playing a pauper Oliver! encouraged Giselle to expand her abilities and audition for My Fair Lady, where she gets to play an unexpected role. In her limited free time, Giselle enjoys painting, drawing, playing the cello, learning Spanish, and singing (when she’s not working on homework for school).

Janna Blair –

Selsey Woman

After playing the role of Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress, Janna found herself continuously drawn back to the stage. Originally from New Jersey and Minnesota, Janna has lived in Montana for 13 years. Some of Janna’s favorite shows she’s been a part of include Les Miserable, The Sound of Music, and Pippin. Away from the stage, Janna loves being a mom to eight children.

Devon Johnson –

Cockney, Butler, Dr. Stephanos

Growing up in Livingston and dedicating most of his life to the art of theatre, Devon is excited to have the opportunity to revisit this show. He’s the Education Director at the Shane Center, and you may recognize him as Spongebob from The Spongebob Musical. Devon would like to thank his friends & family for the unconditional love and support this past year.

Curtis Denniston –

Second Cockney, Charles

Growing up in both Livingston and Cooke City, Curtis has become quite the familiar face at the Shane Center. His first show was Shrek back in 2016, and  his favorite role was Nick Bottom in Something Rotten! When he’s not volunteering at the Shane Center, Curtis works at Mountain Air and enjoys playing the guitar. He is excited to do this show with friends and family.

Milo Stevens –

Third Cockney, Footman

Ever since arriving in Montana, Milo has become a part of the Shane Center family. He loved playing the role of Tommy in Music Man and has also been in Matilda, The SpongeBob Musical, Sunday in the Park With George and Oliver! Milo is excited to share the stage with his father and would like to thank his mom and best friend, Melody, for always supporting him.

Michael Stevens –

George the Bartender, Policemen

Even though he grew up in Livingston, My Fair Lady will be Michael’s Dulcie Theater debut! He was encouraged by his son, Milo, and wife, Sandra, to come out and audition. Michael works as a Snow Plow Driver for the MT Dept. of Transportation after retiring from a 38 year career in the military. He’s looking forward to sharing the stage with his son for the first time.

Neil Murphy -

Jamie, Lord Boxington

Neil cannot overstate how enjoyable it is to participate in community theatre at the Shane Center. He first got involved in 2017 when he played the role of Larry in Company. You may have also seen him in Fiddler on the Roof and Mary Poppins in Bozeman at the Ellen Theatre. Neil is most pleased he once again gets to play an English gentleman.

Julia Reichert –

Angry Woman

Julia is thrilled to participate in My Fair Lady because she’s always loved the show and enjoys singing in the ensemble. Her favorite role she’s ever gotten to portray was Bonnie’s Mom in Bonnie and Clyde because of the character’s emotional depth. Julia would like to thank Russ for all of his positive vibes as Artistic Director throughout the years.

Kaz Hall –

Mrs. Hopkins

Originally from Liverpool, Kaz is excited to be performing in her second ever play at the Shane Center following her role as Mrs. Sowerberry in Oliver! When not on stage, Kaz works as an ELC teacher at Saint Mary’s School. She is excited for the different accents, dancing, and getting to work with all the wonderful people in the cast and crew.

Annika Coleman –

First Cockney, First Maid

Since age five, Annika has loved dressing up in silly costumes and pretending to be someone else. She has participated in countless plays at the Shane Center, including Legally Blonde, Spongebob the Musical, Newsies, and her favorite, Bonnie and Clyde. She is thrilled she yet again gets to switch between a tie and a skirt for this production of My Fair Lady.

Lillian Eaton –

Second Maid

Lillian works as a seamstress and volunteers for Project 49, but recently you’ll find her back on the stage. She is very excited to see the styles of this era come to life through the costumes. Though she took a brief hiatus, Lillian has participated in many plays at Shane Center, including but not limited to Peter Pan, Oliver, Camelot, Beauty and the Beast, and West Side Story.

Izzi Petry –

Third Maid

Izzie is no stranger to the stage. While you may know her for her theatrical talent, you may not know that she also has the ability to tie shoelaces with chopsticks. Living in Montana for 14 years, Izzi’s first show in Livingston was The Sound of Music in which she played Marta. However, her all-time favorite role was a narrator in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Adeline Jones –

Fourth Maid

Auditioning after being convinced by a friend, Adeline is excited for the opportunity to wear fun costumes and hang out with friends in My Fair Lady. When she’s not volunteering, Adeline works at Mountain Air Sports as a screen printer. Adeline wants to thank Izzi Petry for getting her out of her shell and reminding her to be confident and proud of herself.

Vicki Jo Denniston –

Lady Boxington

Getting the opportunity to act beside her family again is a highlight of this production of My Fair Lady for Vicki. Having been in plays such as Big Fish, Oliver!, Evita, and Music Man, Vicki finds herself continuously drawn to the stage. Outside the theater, she is the owner of the Beartooth Cafe in Cooke City. Vicki is endlessly grateful she is able to perform for this community.

Riley Denniston –

Flower Girl

Currently a Freshman at Park High School, Riley has been in an impressive 21 shows including two Devised Theatre Initiative productions. She started doing shows very early at age six in the community theatre production of Evita at the Shane Center, which she was in with her family. Her favorite role so far was Peter Pan in Peter Pan because it was her first lead role.

Julia Durgan –

Lady Tarrington

Growing up in Mukwonago Wisconsin, Julie has lived in Montana for 25 years. She is thrilled to be back on stage after her performances in Oliver! and The Spongebob Musical. With a lifelong love for singing, the theater now feels like home. Julia wants to thank her family, especially her husband Dan, for supporting her and encouraging her to perform.

James “J.R” Johnson – Professor Zoltan Karpathy, Angry Man

James has been a Shane Center regular since the Firehouse 5 days. James’ all time favorite role was Amos in Big Fish, but he has performed in countless productions at the Shane Center. Some of James’ many performances include The Frogs, The SpongeBob Musical,  Jesus Christ Superstar, and Fiddler on the Roof. When not performing he loves cooking, traveling, and hiking.

Hannah Roseberry –

Mrs. Stephanos

Hannah decided to audition for My Fair Lady to experience a show without any small kids. Her first ever show was Matilda where she played a mom and acted alongside her daughter, but her favorite role was Fish Wife in Oliver! because she got to throw fish at kids. Hannah would like to thank Cora for always pushing her to try new things and inspiring her to do her best.

Kelli Wetzel –

The Queen of Transylvania

Trading in the sun for cold winters was a sacrifice Kelli was willing to make when she moved from California to Montana 17 years ago. Since then, Kelli has performed in many musicals, including Young Frankenstein and Music Man. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her and encouraging her to put herself out there with this production.

Mariana Olsen –

Mrs. Higgins’ Maid

After lots of peer pressure, Mariana decided to take a step onto the Shane Center’s stage. Mariana is originally from southern Minnesota but has lived in Montana for 11 years working as a professor at Montana State University. Mariana would like to thank Vicky Denniston, Hannah Roseberry, Nadia Hill, and Will Bernard for encouraging her to audition.
