A family friendly talent show unlike any other! Singing, dancing, circus acts, animal tricks; ten contestants across five counties compete to be crowned champion. $5,000 in prizes, including a grand prize of $2,500!
Competitors will be judged based on their performance, skill, originality, stage presence, showmanship, and delivery. Featuring special guest judges including Shane Center Artistic Director and Founder Russell Lewis, legendary Casting Director Tina Buckingham, and more.

We are looking for singers, dancers, musicians, actors, comedians, magicians and anyone with special or hidden talents. We’ll select the top 10 acts to compete for a chance to win a prize valued up to $2,500 and earn the title of YCGT’s 2025 Talent Show Winner.

Participants must be a resident of Yellowstone Country. This includes the counties of: Park, Sweetgrass, Carbon, Gallatin, and Sweetwater
One submission per person
Performers may be any age
Finalists must perform the act presented in their video submission. Only performers seen in video are eligible to perform live
Applicants who are part of a group act should submit together
Recommended length is 5 minutes; acts must be no more than 8 minutes.
In all cases, decisions of the judges are final and will not be open to
discussionAll performers are required to sign a photo release and liability waiver
This is a community show. Please keep your material Family-Friendly
All acts are required to attend tech rehearsal Saturday May 31st at 11 am
Acts are responsible for their own props and costumes
If you act requires recorded accompanying music, the music must be
provided to the Shane Center at tech rehearsalActs with any member under 18 must have a written consent from parents for each of the members
Please be safe. Dangerous stunts are not allowed. The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts will not accept submissions that put the contestant, any personal, animal, or property in imminent danger.

Be yourself – each artist is unique and has their own style. Let that shine through in your audition.
Dress to impress! Wear what you will wear if you were to land one of the finalist spots.
Remember to have fun! Show us your personality and energy. We want to see you PERFORM!
Please use a high quality recording device such as an iPhone or Android Galaxy Smartphone. Record video horizontally.
If you’re using recording equipment, please avoid using reverb, compression, tuning/vocal enhancers.
WE want to hear you, not an edited version of you.
Be sure to record your performance video in a place with minimal sounds and distractions.
Test your sound and video.
Make sure you are well-lit. Make sure the light is in front of you, not behind.
Make sure you frame the camera so we have a full view of your performance. Don’t cut off your head, put the camera too close, or with a view up your nose. Make sure the camera is in focus.

Join us at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts in Livingston, Montana, on Friday, June 27th at 7 PM for an extraordinary evening of world-class music. This rare, one-night-only event brings together legendary composer and pianist Dave Grusin, award-winning guitar virtuoso Joe Robinson, and acclaimed multidisciplinary artist Audrey Hall for an evening of unforgettable performances.
Dave Grusin, an Academy and multiple Grammy Award-winning composer, has influenced the sound of film and jazz for over seven decades. His iconic scores include The Graduate, On Golden Pond, Tootsie, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Goonies, and more than 100 others.
Joining him on stage is Joe Robinson, a guitarist whose technical mastery and magnetic stage presence have earned him international recognition. The youngest winner of Australia’s Got Talent, Robinson blends blues, rock, and fingerstyle guitar to deliver captivating, virtuosic performances.
Singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist Audrey Hall is known for her distinctive voice and perspective, weaving evocative storytelling with emotional depth. Hall brings the rigor of her fine arts background to music compositions and lyrics resulting in a growing collection of songs that leave a lasting impression.
The evening will unfold as a rich tapestry of music, spanning film themes, intricate jazz compositions, soulful blues, and lyrical Americana. The ensemble features internationally recognized instrumentalists Wesley Ritenour on drums and Brazilian bassist Munir Hossn.
Special surprise guests will add to the night’s magic. More than a concert, this event is a celebration of creativity, connection, and the power of live music to unite communities in support of mental health care access and suicide prevention in Montana.
Proceeds will benefit Catalyst for Change and the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts,organizations dedicated to mental health advocacy and community engagement.

One of the top emerging artists in bluegrass, 2016 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Instrumental Recorded Performance of the Year Award for the tune “Fireball.” Nick also appeared on the 2018 Compass Records band release “Rivers And Roads” that won two IBMA awards (one for Album of the Year) and a GRAMMY nomination for Best Bluegrass Album. Nick Dumas and his band, Branchline, consists of a group of Nick Dumas on lead vocals and mandolin, IBMA Momentum Award winning Carley Arrowood on Fiddle and vocals, Daniel Thrailkill on guitar and vocals, Will McSeveney on banjo, and Jed Cordwell on bass.
Stillhouse Junkies | 8PM
Acoustic adventurers Stillhouse Junkies explore the worlds between roots, bluegrass, Texas swing, blues, and rock. Their free-flowing musical interplay and improvisation make every show unique as the trio weave through high-energy, intricately composed original songs, never taking the same path twice. Formed in 2017, the band consists of Fred Kosak (guitar, mandolin), Alissa Wolf (fiddle), and Matt Thomas (bass). International Bluegrass Music Association's Momentum Band of the Year award.

Beloved hometown heroes. A six piece string band with a lively sound that will get the audience dancing. Featuring: Todd Wester, bass, vocals, Jenny Stringer, dulcimer, vocals, Jim Earl, fiddle, vocals, Jason Moreland, guitar, vocals, Pete Grady, banjo, vocals, Andrew Guevara, mandolin, vocals. They play a mix of bluegrass, country, folk, and Americana. Revering the masters of all those genres, and they aspire to deliver vocal melodies, harmonies, and instrumentals that do justice to the history of the music. This band is, above all else, a family. Creating together, authentic music and good times.
Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band | 8PM
A Shane Center Presents favorite returns! Widely recognized as one of the most exciting young bands in acoustic music, Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band plays a unique mix of bluegrass, Dawg (David Grisman music), jazz, and modern originals. Brothers Miles and Teo Quale are joined by bassist Andrew Osborn and 2023 National Flatpick Guitar Champion Ian Ly, all outstanding musicians of the vibrant California bluegrass scene. Founded in 2016 as a Duo band, Miles and Teo formed the bluegrass band in 2017 and since then, they have continued to make waves in the world of bluegrass and acoustic music. In 2024, the bluegrass band celebrated their debut at the Grand Ole Opry; and in 2023, they received the International Bluegrass Music Association's Momentum Band of the Year award.
