Yoga of Taiji (sun taiji)

  • Shane Lalani Center for the Arts 415 East Lewis Street Livingston, MT, 59047 United States (map)

Two 1-hour classes per week, ($20.00)

Sun Taiji was created by Sun Lu Tang who was a famous martial artist and scholar. He used three different martial arts styles to create Sun Taiji. These styles are at core very useful for sustaining and enhancing radiant health, improved stability, agility and inner strength.

Each of the 6 structured lessons will consist of:

  • Simple foundational postures to vitally improve overall circulation of life-energy.

  • Warm ups that prepare all connective tissues for improved ranges of motion, agility, balance and energetic coherence.

  •  Learning new movement (s) from the Taiji Form, integrating them with previously learned forms, explanation of the benefits, and what its uses are for your radiant health, personal protection and safety.

  • Demonstrations of each Taiji movement from many angles, to enhance and accelerate learning.

Students will be able to access and feel their own life-energy (Qi) flowing through them, within the first 10 minutes of the first class. This experience will be repeatable anywhere and at any time.
